Ginger beer

3 tsp. Lemon Juice (Juice)
1.5 oz. Ginger Ale (Mixer)
3 cups Sugar (Spices and Flavorings)
Lemon (Fruit)
1 tsp. Yeast (Spices and Flavorings)
1.5 oz. Cream of Tartar (Spices and Flavorings)

Drink Recipe Instruction:

Dissolve yeast in a few drops of water. Pound the ginger into a powder; combine with a gallon of boiling water. Add the lemon juice and rind, cream of tartar, and sugar, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add yeast when lukewarm. Close tightly and allow to stand for several hours. Strain and seal tightly in bottles. Store in a cool, dark place.
